Sea of Stars features numerous hidden quest items that unlock secret areas and rewarding minigames across its vibrant world. Among these key items, the Turbo Cookie plays a critical role in unraveling a unique side quest hidden in the Town of Lucent. Understanding where to find this item and how to use it helps players access the game's mysterious Quiz Master and complete their achievement collection.
Prerequisites for Finding the Turbo Cookie
Before players can search for the Turbo Cookie, they must progress far enough in the main story to complete the Necromancer's Lair. Finishing this dungeon grants the Graplou, a specialized traversal tool required to reach elevated areas. Without this gear, navigating the high rooftops in Lucent is impossible.
Additionally, players should ensure they have explored the Town of Lucent previously to familiarize themselves with the layout. Having a clear understanding of the town's bridges and elevated structures makes tracking down the secret path much faster. Once the Graplou is equipped in your inventory, you are fully prepared to begin the hunt.
Exact Turbo Cookie Location in Town of Lucent
To locate the Turbo Cookie, travel back to the Town of Lucent after securing your new grappling hook. Head toward the main wooden bridge on the eastern side of town and target the nearby grapple posts. Latch onto the attachment points to pull yourself across the gap and up onto the ledge system.
Follow the linear rooftop path westward while carefully navigating across the tops of the buildings. Eventually, you will reach an opening that allows you to drop down into the attic section of the local inn. Inside this hidden room sits a treasure chest containing the coveted Turbo Cookie.
How to Use the Turbo Cookie
Once the item is safely inside your inventory, head out of the inn and climb toward the northwestern corner of town. Search the area until you encounter a wandering spirit who expresses a desire for a sweet treat. Interacting with this ghost allows you to hand over the Turbo Cookie immediately.
Giving away the cookie causes the ghost to reveal its true identity as Melee Matey and initiate a brief battle. Defeating this straightforward enemy grants access to its nearby grave. Inspecting the headstone rewards you with the Shed Key, which is essential for the next step of the quest.
Unlocking the Quiz Master and Special Rewards
Take the newly acquired Shed Key back toward the eastern bridge in the center of Lucent. Locate the locked wooden shack situated directly next to the water and use the key to open the door. Drop into the hole inside the building and follow the underground corridor until you reach a large decorative vase.
Interacting with the giant vase introduces you to the Quiz Master, who hosts trivia mini-games based on game lore. Players can turn in various Question Packs discovered across different regions to earn valuable trinkets and trophies. Completing all quizzes on both Casual and Expert difficulties offers a great way to test your game knowledge while earning exclusive rewards.
